Flood Warning β€” Northern Part of Ghana

PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT – RISING WATER LEVELS For Residents in Northern Ghana Authorities have issued warnings regarding rising water levels at the Bagre and Kompienga Dams in Burkina Faso. If the water level at the Bagre Dam reaches 234.50 metres, SONABEL may be required to open the dam spillways, which could result in increased water flow downstream. Residents in northern parts of Ghana, particularly communities along the White Volta River and other downstream waterways, are therefore advised to remain vigilant.
