NADMO SUPPORTS INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS AT SUBINSO NO.2

The donation was in support of victims of the recent tribal conflict in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District, which has forced several families to flee their homes.
The items included 10 bags of rice, 12 cartons of oil, 6 pieces of student’s mattress, 100 pieces of plastic buckets, 40 pieces of plastic basins, 400 pieces of plastic plates, 450 pieces of plastic cups, 20 pieces of poly-mats, 6 pieces of solar lamps, 3 bales of used clothing and 200 pieces of mosquito nets and other assorted goods.
Madam Fati Kine Lam, the NADMO Bono Regional Director, presented the items. She thanked the chiefs and the entire community for their support of the victims and assured them of the government's assistance.
She advised the victims to be law-abiding and called for peace between the leadership of the two tribes.
The Bono Regional Director also appealed to individuals and corporate bodies to come to the aid of the victims.
Nana Sompiitey Sansah, Lobi Hene, Subinso No. 2, who received the items, expressed gratitude to NADMO for the donation.
In attendance at the donation were Hon. Gloria Opoku Gyamfi, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Wenchi Municipal Assembly and Mr. Sulemana Mohammed, the Wenchi NADMO Municipal Director.
They joined the team on a visit to various communities, including Boadan, Botenso, and Nwoase, which are hosting internally displaced persons.
