NADMO Supports Labone Senior High School

The Director General of NADMO, Major (Rtd) Dr. Joseph Bikanyi Kuyon, was joined by the Deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Dr. Clement Apaak, and the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo, to donate relief items to Labone Senior High School following a fire outbreak that damaged the girls' dormitory.
The donated items included 300 mattresses, 350 plastic buckets, 350 plastic plates and cups, 20 packets of roofing sheets, 2 boxes of roofing nails, 350 mosquito nets, and 350 blankets.
Presenting the items, the Director General of NADMO, Major (Rtd) Dr. Kuyon stated that the donation formed part of the organisation’s efforts to bring effective relief to the affected students and to ease the tension in the school. He further reassured the organization’s commitment to support the school.
The Deputy Minister of Education and the Greater Accra Regional Minister commended NADMO’s effort for the timely intervention and support. Hon. Dr. Apaak, also stressed on the ministry’s commitment in rebuilding the dormitory as work has already commenced.
The headmistress of the school, Mrs. Rejoice Akua Acorlor, expressed her gratitude to NADMO upon receiving the items.
“Your timely and thoughtful contribution will significantly impact the lives of our students affected by the fire incident,” She stated.
