The Greater Accra Regional Directorate headed by the Regional Director Archibald Cobbinah on Wednesday August 1, 2018 held an interaction with the National Council of Zongo Chiefs at the Abbosey Okai Central Mosque.
This interaction was aimed at deliberating on how NADMO as an organisation could partner with other Zongo communities in the prevention of disasters such as the perineal floods and fire outbreaks. They also ceased the opportunity to educate them on preventive and mitigative measures.
In a remark by the Regional Director, he said flooding is an issue of national concern and have come to extend a hand of friendship and also deliberate on how to help curb the problem Ghana is facing to enhance development.
Present at the meeting were the Communications Director for NADMO; Mr. George Ayisi. Deputy Communications Director; Prince Offei. The President of the National Council of Zongo Chiefs; Chief Abdul Kadir Tahiru. The Public Relations Officer; Chief Baba Issa and all other representatives of the council.
