The North Dakota National Guard, one of NADMO’s development partners from the US on Tuesday 31st July, 2018, paid a courtesy call on the Director General of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO).
After a brief welcome remark by the Director General, Hon Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh, the leader of the delegation; Col. Hudson hinted, the purpose of their visit was to expose some of their officers to NADMO as a way to strengthen their long lasting relationship with the organisation.
Hon. Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh expressed his appreciation to the delegation for their continuous support to NADMO and its stakeholders and also appealed to the North Dakota National Guard to look at other areas to support the Organisation to make Ghana a disaster resilient nation.
The delegation also had the opportunity to interact with the officers at the Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) to equip them with NADMO’s operations with regards to emergency response.
The Deputy Director General of Technical and Reforms, Mr Seji Saji, and other directors of the organisation were also present at the gathering.
