NADMO Receives 180 Ghanaian Returnees from Libya

On April 24, 2025, the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) successfully welcomed 180 Ghanaian migrants who voluntarily returned from Libya.

This effort, which was supported by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), involved collaboration with various Government agencies, including the Ghana Health Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Police Service, Ghana Revenue Authority, and the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).

The returnees who arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on a chartered flight underwent registration and health screenings to ensure their well-being.

Mr. Kofi Osei, the Director for Migration and Reintegration, stated that NADMO is dedicated to ensuring the sustainable reintegration of returnees into their communities and supporting them as they transition back to life in Ghana.

The NADMO reception team was led by Mr. Kofi Osei, Anita Asamoah from the Communications Directorate, along with other staff members from the National Headquarters.
